Christmas Red

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!  I hope everyone had a wonderful time decorating, celebrating, and feasting.  One of my guilty pleasures during the holiday season is getting dolled up for events, cocktail parties, and mini gatherings with family and friends.  In my book, there’s no better way to celebrate than slipping into something fancy in preparation for your lineup holiday invites. 

Strongly influenced by my fashionista grandmother at a young age, shopping, selecting dresses, and accessorizing for parties never ceases to excite me.  As a child, she spoiled me with glamorous outfits, and bought me a dress every Christmas for her annual parties.  Sticking to her Chinese roots, she loves to wear  red over the holidays, and gave me this red silk dress when I was in high school.  The dress never lost its bright festive hue over the years, and this year, I decided to pair the dress with pearls and a classy black clutch.
