Irish Green

In an attempt to capture the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day, I put together an ensemble with various shades of green and olive.  I usually gravitate towards more conservative pieces with frills, ruffles, and high necklines, but every once in a while, I’m drawn to bold colors and plunging backdrops. 
I paired the green silk blouse with linen slacks, and thou slacks are as conservative as it gets, when dressed up with a bright green blouse, it takes on a completely different vibe. 

I celebrated the Irish holiday with brunch by the poolside, tapas, and tea at the Four Seasons.  The pop of color brightened things up, and the complete ensemble strikes that balance between fun and sophistication.
