Color Blocked Neutrals

Throughout high school, and college, I went through a period wearing only more fitted silhouettes—whether it be skinny jeans, tight tanks, or shorter skirts.  Not too long after graduation, I began embracing pieces that loosely draped the body. 

It’s amazing how much an outfit’s fabrics, cut, and color palette can affect your overall mood.  As a 5 feet 2 petite Asian girl, I usually shy away from long knee length dresses, but this neutral colored, fall purchase made me feel like such a lady.  Though it doesn’t get as much mileage as my other dresses, with multiple layers, unique use of color blocking, and amazing drapery, this outfit is one of my favorites for this season.
