Appreciation
is one of life’s greatest gifts, yet something many people neglect.
We so often get wrapped up in work, responsibilities, and stress that we take life’s simple pleasures for granted. As we mechanically work through each day, we fail to notice the beauty that surrounds us—overlooking delicate roses coiling around a rusty gate, soft petals brushing against our skin, or the crisp taste of red wine warming our core on a quiet evening.

By taking
the time to savor each moment, and see value in even the smallest things, we
can begin to life a more meaningful life.
As I ventured off to wine country with girlfriends this weekend, I
suddenly lost the empty feeling I had lately, and embarked on my quest to chase
after happiness. To be truly happy, we
can only depend on ourselves. "Nothing is
miserable unless you think it so; and on the other hand, nothing brings
happiness unless you are content with it".
I hope everyone takes some time this week to appreciate and notice the
beauty around us, and the value in even the smallest things.
